"Toucan Forest Canopy" linocut print
A pair of toucans hanging out in a tropical rain forest. This is an original linocut print made by carving three separate linoleum blocks and inking each one with a different color to create an image. Toucans are such fascinating birds with their colorful beaks and feathers. They are native to Central America, south America and Southern Mexico, unfortunately they are under threat of extinction, due to deforestation and hunting.
This was printed with oil based (non-toxic) Printmaking inks. Each one is individually hand printed on my at home printing press onto Rives %100 Cotton Rag paper. The art measures approximately 8 1/2" x 11" and is printed on an 11x14" sheet of paper. Prints include rigid backing and a cellophane sleeve. This is a limited edition print of 75. Since each print is carefully hand printed separately, there may be slight color differences to what is shown on the screen. Prints are made to order, allow an additional 3-4 days to process the order. Frame not included.
