Deep Sea Octopus Linocut Print
Original linocut of a deep sea octopus. Octopus are magnificent creatures, with their many tentacles controlled by just their large brain. The octopus makes it's way through the tangled vines that are in it's path while being in tune and in flow with it's environment.
The art size is approximately 6x8" and is printed on an 8x10 sheet of Rives Cotton Rag paper. Each print is individually hand carved from a linoleum block and printed using Non-toxic oil based and richly colored dark indigo blue ink. This is a limited edition print signed and numbered. The print includes packaging in a clear cellophane sleeve and acid free hardboard backing. All materials used to print this series are made from recycled and non-toxic materials. This is a limited edition series of 100 prints. Since each print is individually printed by hand their will be slight variations between the prints in inking, texture and saturation, adding to the unique handmade quality of an original linocut.
