Cozy Day Linocut Print
This linocut print was inspired by what I imagine to be a cozy day. This piece also represents change and feeling comfortable in a new environment.
This is a limited edition series of 40 prints, image measures 8 1/2x11” and is printed on an 11x14 sheet of Kozo paper (Thin paper made from tree fibers). Printed with oil based inks giving a rich appearance and vivid detail. This print was created using a linocut printmaking process, which involves carving into a sheet of linoleum, the ink is rolled onto the surface and pressed onto the paper leaving the cut away areas white and raised areas black. All prints are signed and numbered. Prints are packaged in an archival cellophane sleeve and have acid free mat backing to prevent damage while being stored.
